The Annual Performance Review Cycle

The annual performance review cycle closed last week. Completion rates for self-assessments and manager reviews hit 97% — a record high.

HR observed two shifts this year: more consistent use of concrete example in feedback, and meaningfully reduced score inflation in the top-rated band.

Compensation adjustments will flow with the April payroll. Promotion decisions will be communicated individually by end of week.

The next area of focus is continuous feedback — moving away from single annual conversations toward quarterly cadence that catches problems before they calcify.
