My First Book Report

Miss Lin asked us to write our first real book report. I chose a mystery novel with three brave kid detectives.

I stayed up late rewriting the ending I wanted. Writing, I learned, is also a kind of reading — but slower and deeper. I got an A-minus, and my own ending made her laugh.
