My First Cooking Class

Last Saturday, Mom signed me up for a kids' cooking class. We learned to make scrambled egg and a simple salad.

The chef said, "Taste as you cook — trust your own tongue." I burnt the first egg, but the second one was perfect. I left the class smelling of butter and proud of myself.
