Our Slow Pet Turtle

Our family turtle Shelly is the slowest pet in the world. She walks across the kitchen floor in small, careful steps.

Shelly loves crunchy green lettuce and tiny slices of strawberry. She bites them with her little beak.

When I talk to her, she tilts her head like she is listen. Mom says Shelly might live longer than all of us.
