Flying a Butterfly Kite

My kite has bright blue wings and looks like a giant butterfly. Dad and I took it to the beach on a windy day.

At first the kite dipped and fell in the sand. Then a big gust lifted it up, up into the sky.

I ran along the wet sand and my kite flew above me like a real butterfly. I did not want to let go of the string.
