Trying Out for the School Band

The audition for the school band was today. I had practiced the guitar for weeks. My hands were shake when I walked into the music room.

Mr. Tanaka smiled and said, "relax. Just play what you love." I took a deep breath and started. The first note was a little off, but I kept going.

When I finished, he clap slowly and said, "Welcome to the band." I could not stop smiling the whole way home.
