A Surprise for Mom

Mom was very tired after a long work week. My sister and I wanted to cheer her up.

We picked pink wildflowers from the yard and tied them with yellow ribbon. We drew a big happy card with crayons.

When Mom came home, we shouted "Surprise!" and handed her the flower. She cried just a little and hugged us very tight.
