Libraries as the New Coworking Space

Librarians say it revives their mission for a new era. For many freelancers, the free coffee down the hall beats a $400 monthly desk fee.

The only complaint from city residents is wait lists — some popular branches now require reservations a week in advance for a simple seat by the window.
