Finding a Perfect Seashell

We walked along the beach when I spotted a pretty pink shell hiding in the wet sand.

I picked it up and rinsed it in the ocean. The shell felt smooth, like glass, in my palm.

Mom said I could take it home. Now it sits on my desk and reminds me of the salty sea wind.
