Learning to Cook Dumplings

For Chinese New Year, Grandma taught me to fold pork and cabbage for the first time. Her tiny hands worked like magic.
My first ten dumplings looked like sad, lumpy potatoes. Grandma only laughed and pinched the edges tighter for me.
By the end, I had made fifty decent dumplings. At dinner, the whole family ate what I made. Grandma said mine had the best — though I think she was being kind.
