Making the Debate Club Finals

My partner and I advanced to the school debate finals. Our topic was whether students should be allowed to use phones in class.

I was on the "yes" side, which was not my actual opinion. I had to research real data about learning apps and focus studies.

In the finals I spoke more clearly and calmly than I ever have in front of people. We lost by one point. Coach said I earned every clap I got.
