Running a Neighborhood Yard Sale

My sister and I set up a yard sale to clear old toys and make a bit of money. We priced each item with a little sticker.

The first hour was slow and boring. Then an older couple bought our entire bin of books for twenty dollars. After that, neighbors kept arriving.

By four o'clock we had earned 47 dollars. We split it and I used my half to buy a new sketch pad for my art class.
